NYX PROFESSIONAL MAKEUP STAY MATTE BUT NOT FLAT LIQUID FOUNDATION - "Nude"
** TOTAL REVIEW TIME: 11.5 Hours **
COLOUR MATCH: 8.5/10 (Pretty good, a bit on the peach side, but not bad at all. Darkened at first, but didn't oxidise throughout the day)
APPLICATION: 8/10 (Worked with a sponge, but definitely preferred the finish and application with the brush (which I looooove btw!))
COVERAGE: 9/10 (Medium Coverage, yet buildable to Full, satin-matte finish)
TEXTURE: 7/10 (Quite mousy, a bit thick, yet somehow not heavy feeling)
LONGEVITY: 8/10 (Lasted well up to the 6 hour mark, but couldn't control my oils too well. Also, an update on the little bumps under my skin, they went away the next night. I was impressed that even though I was super oily, the makeup underneath held up really well!)
OVERALL GRADE: B (I enjoyed the look and feel of this foundation. I think if it wasn't for those bits of pigment and the spots, it would have rated even higher.
RECOMMEND: Yes. I think if you have combination/oily skin, you would love this. I definitely will wear this again for my shorter days!

TARTE AMAZONIAN CLAY FULL COVERAGE FOUNDATION - "12S Fair Sand" & "51S Deep Sand"
** TOTAL REVIEW TIME: 10 Hours **
COLOUR MATCH: NA/10 (Because I had to mix two shades that I knew weren't my shade, however the mix of shades was a 7/10 because it started great, but oxidised and went a bit peachy)
APPLICATION: 8/10 (Went pretty good with a brush, but preferred the finish with the sponge but blended super easily!)
COVERAGE: 9/10 (Full Coverage, yet buildable, matte finish)
TEXTURE: 7/10 (Thick, but not as thick as I imagined, and surprisingly, not heavy feeling)
LONGEVITY: 7/10 (Lasted well up to the 5 hour mark, but broke down quite quickly after that. I also noticed little bumps under my skin, but went away a few days later. Can't tell if it was the skincare or makeup just yet. It also did break up a bit around my chin, and looked a bit heavy around the centre of my brows by the end of the day)
OVERALL GRADE: B- (I was really enjoying the look of this foundation until about the 5 hour mark. I think it would be nice for an event or night out if you only plan on wearing your makeup for a shorter time, because it did look really smooth on the skin initially. I would also like to get my correct shade, to see how the colour match goes!)
RECOMMEND: Yes, if you have Combo/Oily skin! I think if you were dry, it would be too heavy and matte on you. But overall, I would say give it a go if you've been eyeing it out! But 100%, pick a lighter shade!!

KAT VON D BEAUTY LOCK-IT LIQUID FOUNDATION - "Light 45 Neutral", "Medium 52 Warm" & "Medium 54 Neutral"
** TOTAL REVIEW TIME: 10.5 Hours **
COLOUR MATCH: 4/10 (Neither of the three shades matched me, but I managed to get a shade to somewhat work.. but it oxidised like crazy and turned very peachy/orangy on my yellow/olive skin)
APPLICATION: 6.5/10 (Definitely preferred the finish and the coverage with a brush)
COVERAGE: 8/10 (Medium-Full Coverage, no need to build, satin/matte finish)
TEXTURE: 7/10 (Thick, but surprisingly, not too heavy feeling)
LONGEVITY: 6.5/10 (To be honest, I'm not sure whether it was the primer that did me wrong, but you could tell at the end of the day, that it had broken up completely around my chin and the centre of my face. Wasn't too bad on my cheeks, but there were little bumps that formed around my face, which I have yet to determine the cause of)
OVERALL GRADE: C+ (To be honest, this wasn't the worst foundation I have tried, and if it wasn't for the colour match, I might have wanted to wear this again. But overall, I didn't really get the hype, but maybe I'll try another primer and see if I like it better!)
RECOMMEND: Maybe not, I liked the way it looked at first, but I think there's better foundations out there. I could see it looking super cakey if you weren't careful, but I know this is a crowd favourite among so many other people! So continue to do your research if you're looking into purchasing this foundation.
